[7-28-25] Our favorite matcha latte recipe

[7-28-25] Our favorite matcha latte recipe

We don't gatekeep. Here's how you can use Mori Matcha to make lattes that challenge the best cafes in your area.

Materials:
chawan (bowl)
chasen (whisk)
chashaku (scooper)
chakoshi (sifter)
water boiler

Ingredients:

3g Mori Matcha
100mL oat milk
100mL hot water

1. Use a chashaku (matcha scooper) or small spoon to deposit 3g of matcha. Start by sifting your matcha powder over a chawan (matcha bowl) to get all the clumps out. Our matcha is stone-ground very finely, so clumps may form over time.

2. Boil water to 80C. and pour into the bowl. Whisk vigorously until the matcha green tea powder is fully dispersed. You want to move your whisk in an up-and-down or side-to-side motion, not the usual circular pattern, in order to get your matcha to foam.

3. Pour the warmed oatmilk over the foamy water and whisk again to froth the milk. If you like sweetener I'd recommend a hint of agave.

4. Enjoy! You can make this iced too.
